The following is a list of Prohibited Materials and Items that are not allowed to be loaded or carried in our skips when hired for general or mixed waste disposal:

• Paints & Thinners

• Fluorescent Tubes & Light Bulbs

• Oils, Oil Filters, Grease & Grease Cartridges

• Tyres

• Asbestos

• Gas Bottles, Fire Extinguishers

• Pressurised Bottles etc.

• Plasterboard

• Liquids

• Sleepers

• Wood treated with Bitumen

• Fridges / Freezers

• Food/Animal/Human waste

• TV/Computer Monitors – (flat screen acceptable)

• Batteries

• Other hazardous substances

This list is not exhaustive, so if you are unsure of whether any of the items or materials you wish to dispose of fall within any of the above categories, please ring Beefy’s Skips on 01793 722227 prior to arranging your skip hire to discuss whether it may be possible to arrange alternative methods for their disposal.

For example, plasterboard can be accepted in a separate Skip or individual Bags.
